Work Permit revoked - please help

Post by irfanrashid » Tue May 24, 2011 11:44 pm

Hi,
I have a problem detailed below - please advice me as you can

I came to the UK on work permit as Chef in 2007 on 4 year permit.
My family wife and 3 kids joined me in Aug 2010
In November 2010 i received a letter from Home Office telling me that my work permit had been revoked.
I found out that my employers had not paid my tax or insurance contributions.
I then had problems with legal advisor who delayed my case but eventually having gone to someone else i got a tribunal hearing on human rights grounds.
My employer has paid all outstanding tax liability including the last year liability too.
I have now received a decision from the tribunal saying my appeal was rejected. my solicitor tells me that there was no error of law by the judge so we cant appeal.

please could you advise me of next steps. should i do judicial review of home office decision?

also i can i get another sponsor to give me work permit? whilst staying in the uk?

thanks

If there was there was no error of law by the judge, then how will a JR be any different?

Do you have the case reference and date?

Hi.the original decision was at the immigration tribunal in Manchester. I have been told that a judicial review can be made of the home office decision.however this will be an out of time appeal as the 3month period has expired.
I will get the case number for you.
I am tempted to write to home office myself asking them to change decision and allow work permit to be re instated.
