NEED ADVICE

iam waiting for the results which should be available by 25/jun/2011. I am planning to go India [ this 15/jun/2011 and rtn back :21/July/2011] for my sister`s wedding and its very important for me. I am having Visa till 30/Oct/2011 and my course expires 30 june . but my student advisor says "
........ that your student visa is only valid for your periods of study. Therefore as you are leaving the UK and want to return AFTER your studies have finished, you should be aware that you may be refused entry by the immigration officials at the airport. This is because your course will have ended, and you can not use your student visa to return just for the purpose of switching into a PSW visa. I therefore recommend that apply for a PSW visa in your home country instead before travelling back to the UK. "......

can you please tell me if i will be in trouble during my rtn??

As far as I can see you shouldnt have any problems in coming back as long as you have you visa.

I had student visa until Jan 2009 and I returned from my home country in dec 2008, without any problems whatsoever.

If Immigration Officers ask you anything, then you could say that you are eligible to pply PSW and which you will eventually in July or August.
