British citizenship for children born outside uk

Post by Maulajat » Wed May 25, 2011 6:23 pm

Can someone help please!

I got my ILR in June 2009 on 10 years long residency basis and BC in august 2010.

My wife and two daughters age 5 & 3 joined me in April 2009 as student dependent and my wife got 2 years spouse visa in march 2010.

Now my question is can I register my daughters as British citizen now or do I have to wait till my wife gets her ILR.

Thanks in advance

Given that you have got your Naturalisation, applications can be made for Registration for your under-18 children.

Your wife? It does not make any difference that she has not yet got her ILR or Naturalisation.
