Processing Timelines - delayed?

Post by scorpionfloyd » Wed May 25, 2011 6:23 pm

I applied for Tier 1 (General) extension and submitted biometrics on 11-May.

The UKBA website says 'We are currently considering applications where the applicant attended a biometric appointment on or before 17 May.'

Anything abnormal?

thanks

Considering applications means just that - considering applications! It does not, even remotely, mean or reflect "processing timelines" of applications under consideration.

The length of time a caseworker may take to decide on a application "under consideration" depends on various factors e.g. - documentary evidence(s), caseworker workload etc. etc. And only a caseworker can advice you on that.

Come to think of it, I believe there is a typo error in that statement .. it should be April instead of May! IMHO ...
