Form AN 2 question

Post by vipul1981 » Thu May 26, 2011 12:33 pm

can someone please help me with following 2 questions regarding the fields in the form:

1. this is the very first field. UK Border Agency reference no. what ref no I need to out here?

I obtained my ILR under HSMP (JR)

2. When were you given ILR?

Shall I put backdated IlR date or date of stamping?

Appreciate your urgent response.

1. Leave it blank.
2. If you received a letter that "backdated" your ILR, mention that date. Else, the date of issue as mentioned on the vignette.
3. Include the letter confirming backdated ILR with your application.

Not trying to hack the thread, but what to write for 2.1 - date and place of first arrival in the united kingdom(first arrived with a view of living long term)

I was already in the UK on student visa when I got hsmp. Any help appreciated...

Thanks for your quick response. I am just about to post my AN form in an hour . I ask that cos, i wasn't sure whether it would be considered unlawful of having a student visa and an intention to live long in the UK which is indirectly against what we sign(intention of going back after studies etc) when applying for student visa?

You'll be fine as long as this is more than 5 years ago (3 years if married to a British citizen).
Don't worry about it. They won't deny an application because you initially came as a student.
