Exceptional talent or tier 2 i am afraid, while the latter will not lead to settlement... Tier 1 general has been led outside at dawn on a beautiful spring morning, blindfolded, and, without much hesitation got it from both barrels by the new emperors... Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...

Any other thoughts from The Gang?
There's no Apprentice tonight, so i'm sure there's a few people around willing to comment.

Good luck

Exceptional Talent seems to be out of sight... but thing is i find some point based calculators in tier 1 extension and they ask for 100 points which include our wages , age, etc etc.

i dont really get it .. coz the guys who get their PSW spned lots of money studying in a university and still we are not allowed to continue permit to stay...

harsh i guess.. anyways plzz guys any other info to share and suggestions... would be really helful

thanx a lot immigrationboard.....

this is the link in ukba i was mentioning

You can go for Tier 2 General after your PSW. As far as I know Tier 2 General does lead to ILR. However, you will need to secure a sponsorship from a valid UKBA approved sponsor.

thanx a million mate for some encouraging words....

now need to find a sponsor.... when i was pursuing masters there were number of agencies which take money and support in financial documentation for HSMP...

now as HSMP is abolished... guess these agencies might frind another way....

i am hoping that there is another way for this via tier 2 .. finding a sponsor..... tats an issue.... i have been trying to contact my frnds there who are in the same soup....

thanx once again.... waiting for more

Options:
1. Tier 1 (Investor).
2. Tier 1 (Entrepreneur).
3. Tier 2.
4. Tier 4.
5. Marry a settled person / British citizen.
6. Marry a EEA citizen exercising (or willing to exercise) treaty rights in the UK.
7. If eligible, apply under ancestry route.

Nothing else to anticipate for.

I got my visa on 9th of November 2010. I am not sure of date of arrival to UK...

my doubt is ... Do i need to stay atleast an year for qualifying for tier 2 visa ????

or is 6 months sufficient????? does arriving after 9th November 2011 automatically disqualify me for Visa Extension ???

thanx a lot for ur previous information......
