Switch from Tier 1(PSW) to student within UK

Hi guys,

This is my first post on this forum. I am on PSW visa and my visa will be expire on 30 may 2012. There are so many new rules appeared after April 2011 and i am confuse whether i can switch from tier 1(psw) to student visa within Uk or i have to go back to my country to apply for entry clearance in order to get student visa.. Thanks in advance for your help.

you can still switch from PSW to Tier 4 as long as you meet the requirements of the rules.

Thanks for your reply. I actually wanted to know whether i can switch within uk or I have to go back to my home country and have to applied from there

Switching means that you can apply in the UK without going home.
