Moving to NY

Post by smulvain » Sat May 28, 2011 5:41 am

Hi,
Im planning on moving to NY with my girlfriend we have been together for 2years. I want to move to NY with her. I have 5 years experience as a web designer and developer. I have no idea what to do next. I was planning on travelling there for 3 months on the Visa Waiver Program then apply for work and get a h1-b. Is this a sensible way of staying in the US?

We have talked about getting married but ideally this wouldn't be the first choice.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I think you need an immigration lawyer for this kind of issue
