I'll give you some background. I applied for in-person T2-ICT extension at Croydon office in April. Luckily the application got through and I recieved the BRP 1 week after that.
As per my CoS, the extension is until April 2012, but on the BRP it was incorrect (MORE ACTUALLY) as Jan 2013. But as per my employers advise, I reported this to the home office via letter to avoid any problems for future extension.
Home office took 4 weeks to respond to my letter saying that it was their mistake and we will have to send the cards back to them so that they can issue the corrected cards. The letter however doesnt mention in how many days we need to send them the cards.
Now the twist it, in the meantime, we have booked for our 2 weeks India trip on 23rd June. So if we send them the cards now, there is no guarantee that we will get the cards on time.
Now my options are -
1. Travel on current cards (with incorrect LTR expiry date) and send the correct cards on coming back -- Is this a safe options?
2. Send the cards asap and wait for them to send the corrected cards. Now this is a gamble, not sure how long they will take and we may have to cancel our trip

Thanks a lot for your help. Am really confused!!!
Thanks,
Tan
