Upper Tribunal permission to Appeal

Hello, pls I need to appealed against the decision of FTT and I have already written the grounds of Appeal to Show an Error of Law. Pls I am in doubt as to whether I should fill in ORAL HEARING cos I'm not in UK and My partner is a v.busy Person who cant attend the hearing. The options are "if appeal was granted, wld u want it dealt with as oral Hearing? and for the permission if I want oral hearing. My Partner is not type that can withstand such ordeal. I have been doing it up to this Stage. Pls your urgent advise is required. Thanks so much.

You need to get your partner to employ a solicitor to act on your behalf. Oral hearing tend to have a much better outcome for applicant than a paper hearing.

If your partner was capable and knowledgeable enough, they can have done it themselves, but if not then get help from suitably qualified person, as the outcome of the decision can have major impact on your life

I have to agree,oral hearings have a much better outcome! Your wife should really attend as this could look bad as to why she wouldnt attend the hearing of her husband.Its only a day she would need to put aside and if you are not in the country its good for them to see you have supportiv family here , not just a paid solicitor.Hope this helps and good luck
