What should I do when T4 visa expires before my results?

My visa expires on early September while I will still be waiting for my grades and to graduate(Undergraduate). I am really worried about my PSW as my visa will have been expired by then.
Some friends with similar cases had to go back because even the university didn’t provide a letter for their visa extension. Is there any way I can have my visa extended and apply for the PSW while at UK itself?
Or, can I maybe apply for PSW even after my visa has expired? It will be no more than a week or so. According to the new UKBA rule, I won’t probably be able to apply for PSW if I have to go back. I really need some suggestions. Thanks.

You will have to have a valid visa in order to switch to Tier 1 PSW. This is strange as you are granted 4month extra visa even after your course finishes and most uni's do publish the result within 4 months, y is it taking so long at your uni.

You can apply to extend your visa for some other short course, with another/same uni and then when results are out you can switch into PSW.

Even if you have to go back You can still apply from Home country until APril 2012, is your uni gonna delay results this long, but you have to show
2800pounds from abroad and its onli 800 from UK

It is not that the uni will take so long. it is just in case if i have to appear in a resit and wait for the result.
