What happens after we have been granted Appeal by AIT

Post by Phantasia » Mon Jul 24, 2006 6:27 pm

Hi,

After 10 months I am still waiting for my Malaysian fiancee to return to the UK. The ECO refused the orginal Fiancee application. We appealed and won the appeal late May 2006. I have been told that the HO have 28 days to appeal the decsion and 28 days extra for correspondence to a foreign High Commission. I have one week left before the 56 days finishes and have had no correspondence from the HO. Maybe I'm jumping the gun but my faith in the HO has faded.

Does anyone know how long this usually takes and who I need to chase after 56 days. There seems to be little information on what time scales or procedures after an appeal has been granted.

Ian
