Tier 2 holder working in UAE on temporarily.

I'm a Tier 2 visa holder for past 3.5 years. I'm asked to go to UAE for a year on a project by the company. I will still be an employee in my UK company. my question is whether my work permit will be effected or will i be denied entry after a year as i was out of the country for so long.

in addition how will it effect my ILR application after completing 5 years on work permit. As i'm travelling on company's business will this count towards the days outside the country.
