VAF5 APPLICATION THROUGH NY PROCESSING TIME

Post by LAROCCAMOM » Fri Jun 10, 2011 12:02 am

This is just to let those who are applying through the NY consulate of the processing times as of June 6th, 2011, of which I was told after sending in my husband's application.
Processing times -

Current visa application processing times for the New York hub as at 6 June 2011:

Visit visas…………………………………...............10 days

Settlement visas……………………………………...35 days

Tier 4 Student visas………………………………….10 days

All other visa types…………………………………...10 days

Priority Service applications…………….….........48 hours

* Please note that the times listed above are indicative of the processing time for the majority of applications. Customers are asked to bear in mind that each application is unique and as such some may attract longer processing times than those listed above. Our globally agreed customer service standards can be found here.
Has anyone applied after June 6th? If so, how does your time compare?
By the way can you get Priority Service for VAF5? I did not see that information in the packet...just wondering.

Thank you.
