Very important about Extension

Post by Stephan_oliver » Wed Jul 26, 2006 1:05 am

Dear HSMP team,

I am on HSMP scheme and my HSMP visa will expire on 12/October/2006. (After almost 11 weeks).

I am working for last 7 month paying taxes and NI. I also pass my Criminal record check

Currently I have a very good job offer where I have to start from 17 august but due to very limited period (11 weeks) left on my visa my employer is not considering, although previously they have given me offer letters.

Please help me how can I convince them.

1. is there any possibility that I can apply for my extension now with 11 weeks left for my visa

2. 2nd they propose me that if I get a letter from home office they will consider that as well.

Its really urgent

Thank you all

I think you can easily handle this situation...yes you can apply for the extesnion straight away..ofcourse you must have done all your paper work beforehand...send an urgent treatment form along with your application and the reson should be job offer...send a copy of offer letter along with your application...it just takes 10 days to get an approval which i m sure you will as you have been working and paying taxes..
Ask your employer that you have filed an extension and also provide them with the letter which you will get from the Home Office as an acknowledgement of your application received by them...
I don't think it is a big problem so don't worry and start collecting your documents for the extension application.....you can file it with 11 weeks remaining...
