Sponsering Family Visitors when Tier1 extension expires <

Hello,
I am currently in UK on Tier 1 -G (Extension Due on 17/11/2011). I wanted to call my Mother in Law in August to help us . My job requires heavy travelling in UK and I want her to help us with the kid.

I think , I can produce all relevant documents (Financial, Tenancy etc) required for a sponser. She can also produce sufficient proof.

With less than 6 months remaining for my visa extension in Aug, can my mother in Law get the visa? I will be pleased even if she gets the end date on the Visa as Nov 17, 2011!

I am planning to apply for my Tier 1 extension in Sept last week.
I do not want to apply for extension now, as it will disturb my planning to apply for ILR later.

Or as an alternative:
I currently have my parents staying with me ; Their return tickets are booked on 23/07. They are on 6 months visitor visa expiring on 01/08. I was thinking another alternative of re-applying their visitor visa when they are here with us. Is this possible ?

Please let me know your thoughts. Highly appreciated.

Any thoughts on applying for my mother in Law for Tourist Visa when my extension is due on 17/11/11. ?
