Hello everyone i hope i can get some help from this site.

i came to the Uk in june 2004 with visitor visa, i over stayed an i went to study english i received a certificate showing that i finished my study in july 2005.

i got married to EEA member in Nov2006, note that we lived together for 1 year before we got married and she was working, i got my 5 years resident in july2007 it will exp july2012 .
i divorced an i got my decree absolute last month i went to see well known solicitor in london, i was gonna apply to retain my right of resident after divorce. note i provide the HO with all the document needed.
but my solicitor said we just gonna apply for PR, and see what HO replay gonna be, all baised that my ex wife she is been working for more than 5 years and so do i, if you add my 1 year studing so we both been in the country for the last 5 years !!

any suggestion guys !! anyone think my solicitor he knows what his talking about and hopefully i will be successful
