Nationality application and credit check

Just wondering if UKBA does credit check during nationality application checks. If so that should be visible in previous searches section on experian credit or other compnaies.

Has any body noticed this UKBA search on their credit reports. If so what name that search comes under?

I have applied a month ago, and didnt call UKBA and dont intend to call and just thinking are there any other ways where we can see the progress of the application?
