visit Visa for mum and brother

Post by hussainfarhad » Thu Jun 16, 2011 3:16 pm

hi
just a few questions
im getting married in july this year and my wedding reception is in september. I want my mum and younger brother(21 yrs age) to attend my reception. They have been to the UK before. their 5 yr visit visa expired last year. Just want to know what documents should i send them to supplement their case.

They have got the finances in place and all property papers to show their links to Pakistan. I dont think its gonna be a problem anyways as they have always been to UK and gone back within their mentioned days of stay( usually about 15-20 days) in a year. I am sending them a wedding invitation card and also letter from myself confirming that I would like them to visit me. I am not financially supporting them as they are already providing bank statement themselves.
also I am mentioning the hotel where my reception is booked and the name of the person who can be contacted to verify it.
I will also be mentioning that they will be living with me in my rented property which has got enough rooms for them to live without overcrowding.

I will be sending copies of my passport and visa and my fiance passport(shes british,im pakistani) and a letter from her too.

Now do i need to get these attested or certified etc?
any other things im missing?

oh yeah my wedding ceremony is in mid july but I want them to apply before july so i cant send them my marriage certificate or anything confirming anything legal.is that going to be a problem?

Asalam alaikum Hussain. While you're waiting for help, I've found pinned post by Vinny. It may have some of the answers.
