OMG Johnty! Did you phone them? What is the latest update?

Called today and I have been told it is waiting for allocation to a case worker..
I said I believe the external check have been completed which I was told 2 months ago? She said NO! when it is allocated then the checks will be made.

Me: What is going on? First you said waiting for checks now you are saying waiting for allocation and check will be made after that!

She said I can not tell you more than what I see on the screen and etc etc.

So I asked if I can make a complaint so I was given some this address below.

If you remember and was following my thread as above. I email the NWCSU asking them why the delay?

So I also received a NICE letter from NorthWest CSU explaining why it took so long. they mentioned the requests made to departments, had no reply, re-requested etc. and then said they have everything now and it was allocated to caseworker and should receive a decision shortly.
Overall I am impressed with NWCSU explanations and I would suggest to anybody in my positions to write them an email before looking for other options like going to your MP. I did not go to MP however I was going to next Friday 24th

send a new payment form as it was not sent from NCS!!!!!)

Needless delay due to incompetent NCS Hatfield staff,nevertheless got the approval letter

does anybody know if it matters to UKBA if one of the spouse who is eligible (with residence and ILR) doesnt apply for BC. or its immaterial. i see that you have to provide your spouse information on the form.

ariesnr i have sent new payment slip but i dont think so there are alot delay in ur application you are maybe just a week behind so its not too bad afterall you got your approval and that was your last contact to the ukba by the way when ur card debited 31st march or 10th of april

Since we are receiving decisions on April applications, I was tempted to call the HO today. I applied on the 3rd May immediately after the 10 day long bank holiday. I have not called the HO so far thinking that May applications will only come out in mid July.

After looking at the recent posts, I called the HO for the first time today and found that a decision on my application which was submitted 3rd May 2011 was made yesterday and HO had sent out the letter today. Not sure of the result, I have to wait for the brown cover now. Fingers crossed.

It doesn't matter as only one person can apply per application. The provision of one's spouse details on the form is formalities.

Citizenship is an individual decision.. there is no issue/matter/ concern to UKBA, whether your spouse apply with you now / or later, it is her/him personal choice.
