Has anyone applied in 2007 and still waiting for an answer?

My mom applied in November 2007 and still hasn't received a reply yet! It's ridiculous! I applied in 2010 just a few months before I turned 18 (i turned 18 in September) and still no answer for me either.. I was here since 1999.

Is no news good news, or what do you think?
