APPEAL ALLOWED - VISA issue question...

Post by Onlyme » Sun Jun 19, 2011 7:16 pm

For those of you who have been through the process of having their appeal allowed (or maybe those who might know the answer)...

If a person has applied for a visitor's visa to the UK 12 months ago and was declined, went through the appeal process and then it was allowed; are they able to say when they want the visa for? i.e. if they're unable to take a holiday from work immediately.

Yes you can ask them to post date(delay) the visitor visa by 3 months only. It means your visa can begin in Mid September 2011 for 6 months.

You must write and inform them of this before they stamp your visa, as once its stamped, it can then not be post dated.
