Result pending Visa expired

My visa will be expired on 28 June 2011, but my MBA dessertation result is still pending and my university refuses to give me any extension. Please help
me with below query:
1) Is there any way to extend my visa till my result is not out?

the university cannot give you a CAS if your course is finished. A CAS is not issued in order for someone to be in the UK for their results. you cannot extend a tier 4 visa without a CAS.

try enquiring about visit visa applying from uk itself. because few years before while i was applying for extension at one of the PEO, the counter immigration officer told me to apply for visit visa just for extension until convocation ceremony.

you can't apply for a visit visa from within the UK anymore, and you also cannot switch from a visit visa to almost any other, including PSW, from within the UK.
