applying for psw, dont have certificate yet.

hi

i have just completed my mba as my dissertation was approved last week (results came out and i passed). i want to apply for psw straight away but my certificate will not be issued untill september 2011 (my student visa is till december). can i not apply without haveing the certificate?


any advice will be much appreciated.

Are the results you have been given provisional or final? Has your exam board written to you to tell you that you have been awarded your degree?

they didn't write to me. the final results just came out on the university website, and its in the progress report as well. i have completed all 180 credits.

read the PSW policy guidance this explains the circumstances in which you can apply without your certificate.

cant find it. do u guys think it is better to wait for the actual certificate? i reckon it is quite risky to apply with only the letter. pls share ur knowledge, i cant seem to take the decision.

See PSW Policy Guidance para 62

no one can make the decision for you. the requirements are set out clearly here. you do not need your certificate to apply.

thanks very much for pointing me in the right direction. perhaps applying with the original certificate is not necessary.
