EEA2: Should i quit my job?

Post by Kin5666 » Tue Jun 21, 2011 9:37 am

Hi Guys,

I have applied for EEA2 as married couple late May 2011. My husband is Belgian working full time as engineer in the South and he's doing well at work. I am Non-EEA also working full time in the North of England. We got married in April and the plan was for me to quit my job and move with husband. However, he's worried if this will affect my application. Hence, at the moment We only see each other once every 2 weeks. This is torturing me! Any thoughts? Thanks

Your employment status has no implications on the application. It's the EEA person employment status that matters so as long as your husband is working you are fine and can join him. No problem.

Location: does not matter if you are with your EEA family member
