settelment visa in uk and then travelling to another country

Hi
I need advise my hubby has aplied for settlement visa for uk from islamabad hopefully inshallah he will get a response in august 2011
If he comes to UK can he then travle to other countries or is there a time limit of staying in the UK.


Please if anyone knows any info then please advise. as i would love to go on holiday in september if he arrives in august.

Settlement visa is only for UK, and can be used to travel within the Common Travel Area.
