Right of abode of Child born in UK but living in Pakistan

I am Pakistani. I married to a British citizen who is British by descent. I joined my husband in UK we lived together. My child was born in UK. My husband divorced me and i came to Pakistan with my child. Now my child is living with me in Pakistan. I want to apply for for my child settlement . I want to know may i apply for certficate of entitlement to right of abode from Pakistan. Plz advise me as this is confusing. Some of my friends say you should apply for settlement, while other say you apply for right of abode.plz advise me.

Child is British under section 1(1)(b). May apply for either a British passport or a CoE to the RoA.

Applying for British Passport

Thanks for your valuable reply. I have decided I should apply for British Passport at British high commission islamabad.I have following documents in hand

1. Child birth registration with Newham council
2. Copy of paasport of my Ex husband
3. Child births records from the Hospital in London
4. Divorce document

I do not have a copy of full birth certificate of my ex-husband. My child was born in 2006. Is it allright. or Should i apply for right of abode.plz reply. You guys have wonderfull knowledge about UK immigartion.

Asia Pacific Lawyers, just a few months ago you were enquiring about sample cover letter(s) for Tier 1 (General) application and today you are already a British citizen! I believe you have already been advised by another moderator not to use this forum to seek advice for your "clients".
