T2 to T2 dependant

greeting all.

I have some queries on my T2 visa application.

Currently both of my wife and me are holding T2 visas and I'm planning to apply for T2 dependant because it will give me more flexibilities in terms of changing jobs etc,. So I would like to know:

1. do I need to go back to my orignal country to apply for the T2 dependant?

2. do i need to take any english language test? both of us have been here for about 5 years and I had a master degree(i had IELTS qualification when I appied for the master course) at a UK university. After that I've been working with the current employer till now.

Please can anyone shed some lights would be much appreciated.
