Student to Tier1 General Dependent

Hello Everyone,

Need some help .

My Friend is on Tier 1 General visa who recently got married and his wife is on student visa which is expiring next month. she completed her masters and got her degree and she is now in UK.

if she want to apply for Tier 1 Dependent visa do she need to travel to home country or she can apply from here.

She needs to apply from her home country (319C(h)).

what does this mean 319C(i)

If the Relevant Points Based System Migrant is a Tier 4 (General) Student, the Tier 4 (General) Student must be applying for or have entry clearance or leave to remain for a course of study that is longer than six months.

It means that Tier 4 holders, with leave to enter or remain for less than six months, cannot bring their partners.
