Tier 1 Extension and ILR

Post by saljav » Wed Jun 29, 2011 4:29 pm

Hi Guys,

My Situation : Tier 1 (General)
First stamp: 12/08/2008 - 06/08/2011
Second Stamp: 27/06/2011- 27/06/2013

As you might have noticed I'll come short of 45 days to complete 5 years when I'll apply for ILR in 2013. Is there any possible way of saving this unnecessary cost of another extension.

Any ideas or thoughts on this

looks the you sent your extension 2 months early. you should have posted the extension application around aug 2011.

you will have to apply for another extension.

normally ukba are very good. my first extension was 5 nov 2007 - 5 Nov 2009
and my second extension started from 27 oct 2009 - 5 nov 2012

but every case is individual me thinks

You should have read the policy guidance before applying for leave to remain.
