My Parents - Bringing 1.3years old Baby to UK

Post by gvijaygadde » Mon Jun 27, 2011 7:17 pm

Hi,

I am currently in the process of applying for " FAMILY VISITOR visa" for my Parents.

During Last January,2011 - when myself and wife went to India : left baby with my parents : because mywife want to get back to JOB.

Now, wife settling with her Job, my parents would be bringing him along with them to UK.

On this Family visitor visa application form : there was a question : any minors under 18 traveling with you : we will be mentioning every details about Bay etc.

Baby born in UK - he got Indian passport - he already got visa as my dependt.

Now, when my parents applying for their family visitor visa : do they need to attached+add any consent letters -Bright certificate - passport copy etc along with their Family visitor application

Hopefully... they get their visitor visa approved, while they travel to UK - do they need to carry any documentation specific to BABY along with them - to clear the Immigration.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks a lot for all the moderators on this forum : you are doing an excellent job - all your comments are very very helpful all times.

On the visitor visa form when they ask for any minor. This means your own children. They want to ask this question, as they want to make sure that every person reaches the Immigration Officer must have a valid visa on their passport. Now since your son already has visa on his passport. so there shouldn't be any problem bringing him in UK.

In a nutshell, there is no need to mention any minor on the VAF1B form.

Thanks,
The question is... to be or not to be....

The adult(s) should carry a consent letter from parent(s) / legal guardian allowing the child(ren) to travel with the named adult(s).
