Extension Help: NARIC recognises Masters as Bachelors

Post by esharah » Mon Jul 04, 2011 2:32 pm

Hi ,

I just had a result of the NARIC equivalence - I have a French Master from a Grande Ecole..with the Tier 1 initial application, I could get 35 points from the calculator.

This time when I did the Point based assessment, the same Master degree from ESC Grenoble, showed zero points. I approached the NARIC and they have made the degree equal to a Bachelors.

Now, my Indian Bachelor's degree in Engineering is already recognised with 30 points.

I can get enough points (80) with the Indian Bachelor's degree and current earning.

What should I do?

On what date did you apply for Tier 1 (General) initially?

To keep it simple - should I not just use my Indian Bachelors degree for the points or do you think it is risky?

From a perspective of the law, neither is risky.
