Confirmation -- Job while ILR application;Child BC/ILR?

Hi Gurus!!!

I know these questions below are not asked first time but there is still a confusion for my case. Below are the details of my visa and its associated queries. Appriciate your advise on this.

WP valid from 13-07-2006 - 13-07-2007 but Entered into UK oct 4th 2006.

Extended the WP in 2007 upto 2008 but converted to HSMP valid upto 28 Jan 2010

Extended the HSMP now called HSMP Tier 1 valid upto Feb 16th Feb 2013.

Q1 : Is my understanding correct that I can apply for my ILR starting anytime from September 06th 2011 or am I eligible for ILR from 15th July 2011?

Q2 : My baby was born in 25th June 2011 in UK. We are not intending to travel to India before November 2011 which means after get ILR. Can I apply for my baby British Citizenship or do I need to apply for Indian passport and apply for PR?

Q3 : Is it mandatory that I need to have a Job in hand when I apply for a ILR? what are the Chances of rejections if any?

Q4 : I understand that we need to write life in UK test and is there any other english test required for myself or my dependent wife.

1. You may apply no earlier than 28 days before the 5th anniversary of your entry in the UK as an economic migrant.
2. see also child born in the UK.
3. See also ILR Case but no Job now.
4. Either LITUK or ESOL course in English with citizenship (33B - 33F).
