how the total period of stay is counted??

Post by rocky777 » Thu Jul 07, 2011 2:38 am

I have been living with EEA national for last 2 years (since 2009) and now i got my residence card valid for 5 years ( until 2016 ). I am just wondering if I can apply for permanent residence in 2013 as we have been living together since 2009 and it calculated to be 5 years time. Or should I apply for PR (permanent residence) at the end of 2016 when my 5 years will be accomplished as from 2011 ???? I will appreciate yours piece of advice ...regards
