PAKISTAN: Can someone else collect the passport

PAKISTAN: Can someone else collect the passport

HI

I am in UK and applied for my wife dependent visa (tier1) from Islamabad , Pakistan. with following timelines

22/06---- applied at Islamabad
26/06------ processing in embassy
07/07------ return to application centre(AC)
Ready for collection---- Hopefully in 1 week. ?? What do you think about collection time??,, Fingers Cross


my question is

can someone else collect the passport on my wife behalf.

Should be able to, if the person carries a letter from your wife that he/she is authorised by her (your wife) to collect the passport on her behalf. The person in question will also need to carry an identity document to prove his identity.

Also best to check with the local VAC.

Yes anyone authorized by your wife can collect her passport, he/she must have a letter signed by your wife, your wife CNIC (original would be preferable) if not a clear copy and their original CNIC.

by grace of Allah, my wife's visa has been approved. She will be joining me next week inshallah :)
