Concerned about time taking to approve my Tier 2 extension

Concerned about time taking to approve my Tier 2 extension

Ok, I submitted my Tier 2 extension on the 2 June. I received the acknowledgement on the 13th, on the same day I went to London to get my Biometric done. It is now the 9th of July and I am concerned. What could be taking it so long. It has been more than a month. I know the website says 4 weeks so could they be only counting the time when I receive the notification saying that my application has been passed onto a case worker?

4 weeks is from when you give your biometrics. be patient.
