ILR Form SET M and Maternity Pay

Post by vinpat1 » Mon Jul 11, 2011 10:23 am

Hi All

My wife is due to apply for her ILR, she is currently on a spouse visa. She is Indian and I am a British Citizen. We are looking to book an appointment at a PEO for next week.

Part of form SET M (7.3), asks to state the income per month of the applicant. My wife has just started work after coming off maternity leave, during which she was getting paid just her SMP.

My question is, what figure do we put on the form? The value from her last payslip or an average of her income when she was working and not claiming SMP?

Thanks in advance

Hi Jami

Thanks for your reply.

Do you think that this would be seen as her only 'income'? Do you thin she should get a letter from her employer stating that she is back to work?

Thanks
