Extension document main + dependent question

Post by cgohil » Mon Jul 11, 2011 10:31 am

Hi,

I have a question regarding extension D5 point which is mentioned below.

D5 :- Are either the applicant’s current and/or any one of his/her previous passport(s) or travel document(s) that he/she has used to travel to, and remain in, the United Kingdom which shows his/her current leave unavailable?

Yes or No.

What should I tick?

thanks

That would depend on your circumstances. If you have any passport that you used to enter and remain in the UK showing your current leave unavailable, then tick Yes, otherwise tick No. There's no "right" or "wrong" answer - it must match your circumstances.

I had a work permit in yr 2007 which has expired in yr 2008.
In such case i have to tick yes and provide the details.

Do you have the passport with you - are you going to submit it? Then the answer is No. Yes = Passport is unavailable; No = Passport is available.

Ys I am going to submit the same passport which I had used during 2007 visit.

so In this case DO I need to tick No. or Yes along with mentioning all the previous travel details.

thanks

Then your passport is available and you have to say No to that question.
