Earning period - urgent please

Please help

Please could you clarify whether I 'm allowed to claim below earning period(Tier 1 General Ext).

I 'm planning to apply(via post) on 21st July 2011. Am I allowed to claim the earning period between April 2010 to March 2011(first 12 months of 15 months period)? My salary for April 2010 has been credited to my account on 1st week of May 2010. On my payslip pay period mentioned as April 2010(no pay date).

as long as it is consecutive 12 months then you are fine.

My concern is April 2010 will be still considered as part of 15months period as I 'm planning to apply 21st of July 2011. Please could you shed some light?

No. did not you check you crossed 15 months (e.g. after 1st July it is 16th month not 15)

Sorry, I was busy writing up a response and then I got distracted.

I would be really concerned about the timing as an application on the 21st of July will mean that 15 months prior takes you to 21/04/2010. Your earnings period is generally from the 1st to the end of the month or from the day after payday from the previous month to payday next month. Either way, your earnings period for April starts outside 21/04/2010 and I think if at all possible, you should not use April.

It is the earning period.. not the payment reached your bank account. so you are out of 15 months limit with current duration.
