Hi, i am due to apply for peremaent residence card, nut i read from the eea4 application form, that my wife{eea} has to provide full national insurance number.
the problem is for the first two years of her working in the uk she didnt apply for one and didnt take it serious, because she was working less than 15hours a week.
we have all the payslip,p60s, showing her workig between 2006 to 2008.
.will this affect my application .please somebody help thanks.
she got her NI in 2009.thanks.

what i think if you can provide all the P60's and P45's with proof of pay slips indicating that you did pay and are paying NI+TAX contributions I think you will be fine. you still can apply for a new NI now and send it to HO. If you have a tax office near your area then you can even go there with your temp NI number and payslips having employee ID and ask them to give you letters showing you paid tax etc.

hope this works

I think it was possibly at that time to work on a temporary NINO though I wonder why the employer(s) were not bothered. As long as she was truly a worker which also implies that she was paying taxes and NI contributions according to her income (did she?), I would think she should be fine. If there is any problem than with HMRC. The UKBA will only decide on the residence requirements and whether she was a worker or not for a continuous period of five years.
