Pending trial next year and applying for student visa?

One of the questions on the VAF9 form is if I have any convictions or criminal record and I said NO...

Next question was if I have any trials in the future what the offense was, date, and country. I answered yes. Canada and the date

Can I be denied a visa due to a pending trial. It was stupid and I regret it big time. Was charged with a DUI and failure to provide a breath sample.

thought somebody would respond.....makes it seem even more bleak....if I get into the UK it seems like I'll be the only criminal in the country.....
