Hi,

I (Main Applicant) need to travel to my home country on a personal visit for a week and my dependant will be staying here in UK for that period. Is it fine with UKBA since I'm not returning to my home country for good and will be back after a week.

Is there any link which I can refer for the exact rules for such a situation?

You'll be fine, Do not worry about your dependant's stay when you are away.
