ILR application more than 14 weeks waiting

Post by Elena Babintseva » Thu Jul 14, 2011 4:52 pm

Hi there!

Just a quick question about the waiting time.We submitted ILR paperwork based on HSMP 4 years continuous residence.I m my partner `s dependant.
Documents sent - 23d of March 2011,
UKBA letter dated - 29th of March 2011.

It s been more than 14 weeks so I asked the solicitor to contact them and request the case progress.

He said the caseit had not yet been completed. They didn't request anything additional though.

Is there any time limits at all?

Privet,

We lodged most of those applications on behalf of the clients via the same day service, except for the one that was "locked" within the UK BA due to the client's...SAR lodged some time ago.

Even that one was considered within 10 weeks.

Up to 95% of the cases may be considered by the UK BA within 14 weeks - in line with their guidance.

If you need to travel urgently etc, your rep should know what to do, that is, how to expedite your case.
