refusal of spousal dependant permit after 5 years

hi everybody, hope you are all well! im a bit concern about my spousal work permit. im working for the same company since 2006 on a spousal work permit , the thing is that when my employer send my application on march this year, after a mothn approx i recieve a letter saying that was refuse?? because they dont do "new work permits" any more and that i have to send a letter to appeal , i send that letter, explaining that i work in this company for 5 year... im really worried because i can not loose my job, and in the end personally i thing that they have no reason to do it... i really need an advice please

They used to issue Unlimited Work Permits after 5 years continuous work with the same employer but now they do not renew work permit after 5 years you simply have to go to Garda Station with your employer's letter for your GNIB Card Samp and they give stamp4 for 1 year. This is the normal routine for the work permit holders I don't know whether this applies to you or not, better you check this link:
