Work visa with uk police cautions

I got 2 cautions one when i was 15 then one when i was 18,for petty things criminal damage,i am nw 23 would this affect me getting my work visa into the us?if yes would i be better not to declare it as i have never actually been convicted,what actual criminal checks if any do the embassy do and would they find out??please help thanks?
