TIER2/WP CHANGES

Post by tdoubleoni14 » Thu Jul 21, 2011 6:53 pm

The recent consultation on work related settlement routes of Jun 9 2011, stated that following the announcement of the Home Secretary in Feb, it is intended that the changes will affect those that entered the new economic migration route in April 2011. i.e those expecting to apply for settlement in 2016 based on current rules.

My question is, if the above is interpreted logically, why then are those that don't meet e.g the income criteria being denied ILR. What is happening to them? Are they leaving the UK? Has anyone fought and won?

Please tell your story? I especially would want to know about current work permit holders..........
