Tier 1 (General) extension (Judicial Review)

Post by santosh_kalluri » Fri Jul 22, 2011 8:33 am

Hi Folks,

I got my Tier 1 (general) in 2009, under JR for initial HSMP approval before Nov 2006. My Tier 1 (General) is expiring in Jan 2012, I was working in Singapore for the last 8 months (Internal company transfer, was paid local salary in SG), am currently in India taking a break but now I want to come back to UK and apply for Extension (FLR).

1) Can you kindly advise if I am still eligible (because I had a long break)?
2) Do you suggest applying the FLR from India or come back to UK and work for 4 months and then apply? in person or postal?

Would really appreciate your help on this one.

Thanks a lot,
Santosh.

1. You can apply for an extension relying on overseas earnings but you can't apply an uplift.

2. You can't apply for FLR from outside the UK.
