Tier 2-Employee Sponsored Visa -Main Applicant visa

For the Tier2 Employee sponsored visa-Intra company Transfere visa applied thru employer,is it required to include marriage certificate as a mandatory document for the main applicant.

I agree it is a mandatory document for Dependent application;how about in case of applying a workpermit (thru Employer) for the main applicant for self application only.

Please advise.
