ILR long residency dependant under 18 years

Post by Thahira » Sun Jul 24, 2011 9:54 pm

Hi, I got ILR under 10 years long resident category. I have an 8 yr old daughter who was born in US (holding US passport). She was my dependant in UK for nearly 7.5 years. Since dependants are not allowed in ILR long resident application, I am not sure which category she could be transferred to (husband holds Tier 1 general migrant visa). Any help/directions appreciated.

Thanks.

When is the ILR due for your husband? as children under 18 can go for settlement with their parents on Tier 1, as soon as they (parent) apply/get their ILR.
The question is... to be or not to be....

Thanks for the msg. Husband's ILR due June 2012. Until then daughter won't be on a valid visa. Is it possible to apply for ILR/Naturalisation registration for my daughter as one of the parent got ILR? We were thinking of applying using SET(F) form, which is one of the options available for ILR dependants under 18 years (when one of the parent has ILR). Thanks again for the time.
