ILR and previous income

Post by zahid.ali.anwar » Mon Jul 25, 2011 4:10 am

Hi All,

If a person is working as employee and also doing his business as self employed contractor at the time of extension of his Tier 1 General visa looses significant amount of business in the next year and after that he regains his business.

1. Do this has any impact at the time of ILR. As according to new rules you need to show your previous income.

2. Do the person has to show progress in business for ILR. Keep this thing in mind that the person's one year business was not good.

3. At the time of ILR, do we have to provide all the preious P-60 and SA-302? If any one is missing how to get that back. Do HMRC keeps receord of preiously issed SA-302?

4. What actually means progress in business. If the person is fullfilling the previous income band level, then why he has to show progression in business?

Thanks,
The question is... to be or not to be....
